As a green surfactant derived from renewable vegetable raw material, APG is non-toxic, non-irritating and excellently ecological compatible. It is widely used in personal care and household detergent, especially in the cosmetics designed for pregnant and baby. In addition, APG has good solubility, permeability and compatibility in highly-concentrated strong alkali/electrolyte solution, has no corrosion on various materials and no residual after washing. Therefore, APG is not only a suitable choice for household cleaning, industrial hard surface cleaning, etc., but can be used either as refining agent using at high temperature as well as on strong alkali condition in textile industry, or as foaming agent for petroleum development.
